The Chris Norton Foundation helps people living with spinal cord injuries and mobility disabilities, and the families beside them, experience connection, independence, and hope. Through Ignite Family Wheelchair Camps and support for equipment and therapies, we help turn possibility into meaningful experiences.
ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The Chris Norton Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals and families living with spinal cord injuries and neuromuscular disabilities.
Each year, our flagship program, Ignite Family Wheelchair Camp, welcomes dozens of families to connect, play, and experience a deep sense of belonging. Beyond camp, we support grants for essential equipment and therapies at facilities across the country.

At Ignite, families find a place where everyone can take part. Campers try new adventures, siblings share in the fun, and parents connect with others who understand. Together, they build friendships and memories that last beyond camp. Lodging, meals, and activities are provided at no cost to families.

Since 2012, the Chris Norton Foundation has invested in life-changing grants that expand access to essential adaptive and medical equipment, therapy resources, and specialized rehabilitation programs for individuals living with spinal cord injuries and neuromuscular disabilities.
Through 73 grants supporting more than 30 organizations, these investments have helped create greater independence, mobility, strength, and opportunity for individuals and families nationwide.

The Chris Norton Foundation has impacted thousands of lives, and we’re just getting started. Today, one of our biggest goals is to host CNF Wheelchair Camps in every major geographic region of the U.S.
Families across the nation need our support. By hosting more camps, we can reduce barriers like travel expenses and give everyone the opportunity to live life without limits.
